BY RANDY BURNS Special to The Item BISHOPVILLE - A Lee County councilman was in a Columbia hospital Tuesday recuperating from injuries after reportedly being shot in a hunting accident Monday. Charles Arthur Beasley, 64, who has represented District 6 on county council since 1988 and served as chairman from 1994 until earlier this month, reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries when he was struck in the neck, nose and above his left eye during a quail hunt on his farm in St. Charles, according to Sgt.
