An arrest warrant has been issued for 38-year-old Stacy Edward Wade of Irmo in the disappearance of his estranged wife, Charnel Redden. Redden was last seen Monday afternoon at Wade's home on Fallsbury Road in New Friarsgate.
"We've been investigating the disappearance since Monday," Irmo Police Chief Brian Buck told The State. Information developed since then has led authorities to believe foul play is involved in the 25-year-old working student's disappearance, Buck said.
Redden's family reported her missing when she failed to return phone calls.
Police distributed a picture of Wade and a photograph of a truck similar to the 1997 white Ford pickup he is thought to be driving. Wade's pickup has an "In God We Trust" SC tag with the number 9544EJ.
Wade was last seen by friends Wednesday or Thursday, Buck said.
A bench warrant has been issued for Wade's arrest by the Lexington County Magistrate's court.
If anyone knows there whereabouts of Redden or Wade, notify the Irmo Police Department or notify Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or SCCrimeStoppers.com or text TIPSC plus your message to CRIMES (274637).
