"... Al Jerkins of KJRH in Tulsa posted tonight that Kragthorpe, who has already been the head coach at Tulsa, has withdrawn his name from consideration for the job.
Jerkins said 'Former TU offensive coordinator Chad Morris also interviewed today. Morris had accepted an offensive coordinator position at Clemson, but has expressed interest in returning to Tulsa to get his shot at being a head coach. Kragthorpe told Channel 2 Sports he got the impression TU would hire a coach within the next few days.'
Clemson had scheduled a news conference for 2 p.m. on Thursday to introduce Morris and new defensive coach Marion Hobby." Source

Do we need a fickle coach at Clemson?
Editorial: If there is one thing that Clemson football needs it has to be consistency; but if you have a coach who has demonstrated the lack of steadfastness in his resolve then the recipe for disaster will be on the menu. I believe Clemson would be better served to withdraw its offer to Chad Morris and continue searching for someone with a little more experience and stronger temperament.
