SC unveils new, more secure driver's licenses - State & Regional - Wire - TheState.com: "COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina driver's licenses are getting their first overhaul in 16 years with new graphics, photos and tamper-resistant features.
Gov. Mark Sanford and Department of Motor Vehicles executive director Marcia Adams introduced the new licenses Thursday at the DMV office in Irmo.
DMV spokeswoman Beth Parks says the new features make it tougher to alter the licenses or to make a counterfeit copy."
