One player on the USC football team received an improper loan to buy a $1 million insurance policy, and seven others were treated to $330 in meals at local restaurants by a football fan, according to documents released Wednesday by the university.

The documents also showed that one freshman player attended a September 2009 gameday party hosted by a booster at condominiums near Williams-Brice Stadium. That then-recruit discussed his college preferences with the booster but said the booster did not try to persuade him to attend USC, the report said."
